The introductions continued, several others until. She moved forward. Nathan could hear a few of those present, catch their breath, including Cistera. Of all of the Parentia, the most hated of all of them?
Princess Isabellani and her it was rumored, Sister? Princess Besise! No holding back on the disgust, or the distaste from Cistera.. Past history coming to the fore, including the enslavement in token, of her own people. The Fendiq.
No, Cistera had no love for Isabellani. Many of those present, were unaware, that that hatred, first started, when they were both together at the Kets Akademy. The last person she expected to see here?
A total shock. Not that there was much that could be done about it. Protocol and the realization that if she spoke her mind, Cistera would breach that and cause offence. Such, would reflect, not just on her, but also her people.
Both bowed, but clearly laboured. As a gesture of politeness. It was all too clearly, a tedious, necessary formality, nothing more. If Isabellani had glanced at Cistera, there was no response from her. She moved towards La Toyah, bowed and acknowledged her. La Toyah was almost emotionless as their eyes met.
“I do hope, YOUR Kets, fully understand, what the Akademy is about.“ Isabellani nodded. There was an air of icy coldness between them.
La Toyah knew, the only reasons Isabellani had off loaded the Kets, to the auspices of the Akademy, was to keep them occupied. Stashed there, off her hands, out of her way. A nuisance, nothing more.
Some, might have questioned, as to if, she had ANY maternal feelings at all. In having the Kets in the first place as her offspring? She had given them birth and handed them over to nannies as we would have known them. FROM the moment they had been BORN. NOT a few years later!
No one there, was under any illusions. Isabellani was to coin the phrase ‘Evil.’ The Jogarth Imperiata, as she now was, truly represented everything that horror could conjure up, re the Jogarth. Slavers and murderers. La Toyah felt sorry for the Kets. Why she had not refused them entry to the Akademy?
Perhaps, just perhaps, it might change some of them for the better. She did want to make sure that they were not under the influence of Isabellani whilst they were there in any way shape or form. That included her pulling them out to suit her own purposes.
She had gone, to great lengths, to remind Isabellani,. “Once they are committed, they CANNOT leave until they have completed their term, you understand.“ Again a nod to acknowledge what had been said..
The Jogarth Kets, moved forward to introduce themselves. Princess Anora. 'Supreme Imperiata'. (Next in line to the Imperial Jogarth throne.). Prince Ilia, Prince Fre, Princess Besai, Prince Coleja and Van Ea.“ Princess Van Ea stared at Cistera.
Now there, was a look, Cistera knew all too well. She had seen it the first time Isabellani and her had met, all those years ago at the Kets Akademy. How remarkable, the likeness of the female to Isabellani!
Becci and Ethan smiled, as they waited to be announced. Becci was holding in her hands, a Frubu wash. (A tropical fruit mix drink is similar.) She handed the drink to Nathan, as he smiled,
Cistera frowned, not pleased at her, having attended, with a drink in her hands! NOT protocol at all and lax. They moved forward, bowed, introduced themselves. “I am Haphketsut Princess Becci and this, is my brother, Haphket Kal Heiron, Prince Ethan.“
They moved towards the Kets. “We welcome you, as our guests, we.“ Becci giggled. “Have a party in progress. We would like you, to join us!“
None of the Kets moved! Cxao was finding it hard, to believe, that the guest Kets, were not responding, in the slightest, to such a friendly warm, welcoming invite?
He moved forward, hissed at his Kets. “Well answer.“ They looked at each other, then at Sdaeke and Majeni. Cxaornin (Sadowan) moved forward as he introduced himself to them and then stood next to Ethan! Others joined him.
Princess Anora, looked at Isabellani. Marking her approval? She nodded, for her to accept the invitation. The other Jogarth, followed. Only Princess Orphea’s Kets, remained. Looking confused and left out?
Cistera felt sorry for them. Nathan went to move forward, Orphea, stepped in front of him, she glared at her Kets. Annoyed that they were being so distant?
“Since when, do Haphkets and Haphketsut Fendiq-Sucharra, not join with their kin?” Becci looked at them, a warm smile?. Seconds later, Ethan led them off, as Becci turned to look at Cistera and Nathan.
“We, will all be in the Galleria Tetris.“ Becci bowed. Turning she chased after the others. Ethan waiting patiently, until Becci arrived, at the entrance to the Galleria Tetris.
Colfra and Sajani are NOT strangers. They both have spent time together BEFORE the Akademy BUT they are NOT couplets OR Cojoined !, greeted the other Kets and they too, were now headed towards the party. Their luggage as we would know it, being conveyed across and unloaded.
Those, who had brought the Kets, left. La Toyah had seen and heard a lot! It was, now up to her, to compile the final lists of the new Kets for the Akademy.
Never wise to do so, before the Kets were physically present. All too often a lot of work wasted in the past with them not turning up, sometimes unable to for various reasons. Some had not arrived at this rendezvous.
They might, within the next twenty four hours, as we would know it. There were certainly some interesting ones in this batch!
The Vendarans were submitting their ‘Kets’ or Prime for the first time. This was going to be a whole new experience for them.
Onboard the transporter, Cistera was talking to Soniette “Do they have any idea of what they’ve got coming to them! La Toyah as well.” Soniette giggled.
“At least she, didn’t have turned up nose Leyla with her.“ “Did you ever see her smile?”
“Only once, when Isabellani pulled that stunt over the Glokver. Almost got eaten by it! I swear, I saw a smile forming!” “Disappointed, the Glokver didn’t eat her!”
