It was, whilst Ocasa was dressing, that Ameryst walked in. She never knocked, never it seemed, took any notice of his state of undress.“We taking kit with us?” He moved to pull his top on. “Ma ma says all kit is provided, but I’m taking my Sanwa, are you taking yours?”

“They’re comfortable.“ Ocasa stepped over to a refrigeration unit, opened it, closed it, as he took out some drinks passed one to her. “They don’t give us a list!”.

Little of any consequence, had been said about what they needed to take, or shouldn’t take with them! Uanita came into the chamber, glanced at Ameryst then smiled at Ocasa, as he moved, to fetch her a drink!

“Mama showed me the holographic imaging on the Akademy.“ She went over to the GlobeCast unit and then activated a screen. Onscreen the playback of a recorded tour of the Akademy. An enormous complex, that spread out for miles, it seemed to go on forever.

“Our domiciles, are in a building similar to this.” Like some giant skyscraper, rising up out of the landscape, dominating everything around it.

“Will they separate us, cos we are younger?” Uanita shook her head..
 “Mama says no! They don’t separate the females from the males either! But each domicile holds up to four!” Her eyes flared as she looked at Ameryst then at Ocasa.

“We could be sharing.” Ocasa sipped his drink “That would be really good.“ Uanita sighed. “Course we’d need a fourth? Do you think Cxan would share with us?” Ocasa slipped off the recline. “I’ll go find him and ask.“

“We need to stick together.“ Ameryst ( Haphetsut Princess of the Sucharra Dynastic. Regent: Ophea.) stared at Uanita “Becci will try and cause trouble, she always does with Ocasa and myself, like the last time, she got me into trouble!“ Uanita grinned.

“But, you sure got your own back.“ She pouted her lips, scrunching them, a smile forming, a very deinite clear  sparkle in her eyes?

Ameryst nodded her head,  “Worth it, just to see the expression on her face!"  Ah to stop and  bask in the moment!, "She could not get the stain off her face for weeks!”

Becci, who it should be added, had by rather nefarious means, acquired an item, that was somewhat planned as a gift from Ameryst to Uanita.

In the attempt, to steal it, she had been interrupted by Ameryst and thus had been delayed in getting her hands on it!

That however, had NOT gone unnoticed and? Later basking in her managing to now have it in her possiession? Becci had gone to slice the Matoula fruit [A melon]!

Unknown of course to her,  Ameryst had tampered with it, Becci was thus  totally unaware!!  As she slammed the knife into it! A smile now spreading across her lips, satisfaction at having, got one over,. to coin a phrase, on Ameryst?

She did not like her. Too in her face and too close to her brother Ocasa who adored her?
Ah the last one and that would be for a while. That smug smirk?  was not for long!

The Matoula fruit, exploded! We mean EXPLODED, as Cxan walked in, he heard the bang and ducked. Watching, Becci thrown backwards, her entire face and front, covered in this orangey squelched mass, dripping off her, as she screamed and shook in rage.

Realizing all too late, who was responsible! Revenge? There’s a salutary lesson to be learned, given the shape of the Matoula fruit. There is, some semblance of truth in the saying.

‘What goes round, comes round? What infuriated her even more, was not just having to face Ameryst but her brother? He fell about laughing imitating the Matoula fruit exploding ? Heck if he didn’t get that to perfection! At least they were interrupted by the news. Arrivals?

Of course, some of you may be thinking that to put the air into such a fruit means making a hole and thus high pressure air is not going to remain? You really think I would tell you a tale with no substance? Well certainly not just the one splattered across Becci?

Ameryst and Uanita, had taken what you would call a BALLOON and after carefully tucking it into the centre of that Matoula fruit, now inflated it and oh my just look at that, it sealed the hole tied off ready for that blade to puncture it!  Prick an inflated balloon and watch it go BANG!

“Soniette’s on her way.“ Soniette was the Imperial Empress of Bexes, the neighboring galactic planetary system. Not the least bit like Cistera. An Animorphic being. She could transform from her normal almost Human(a) form into a given creature, the tell tale of what exactly, was tattooed on her right shoulder.

Nathan stopped, turned to look at her. “Don’t tell me!” “She heard about the Cflen incident, but that’s not fully the reason why.“ He smiled then waited, as she finished putting the items away. “The Bexes Kets?” “They saw them a little while ago.“ “NO! The Akademy?!“

“Oh!” “So we can expect Soniette and of course; Dram.“ Nathan smiled, the thought of some peace and quiet, without the Kets around? Hmm, well it had its good merits. As for Dram!

Far too long since he had seen one of his best friends. “With the Kets and we’re bringing them together, we need to work out, who is going and who isn’t?”

“Oh, OK. Good idea!” Koemini entered, she bowed. “K stop that! I told you when we’re in quarters like this, be informal. “Nathan grinned. “Is that possible!”  Cistera leaned forward, kissed him on the lips! K scowled.  “OK that does it I’ll see you both later!“

“ K, Don’t forget The Toy’s coming this afternoon.“ K nodded. Nathan eyes flared.  “UH!"
