Adjacent to the Collonades, as we stepped from the end of that experience, there is an area known as ‘The ‘Knurlings’ The round, glass like structures, that rise in the air, are absolutely MASSIVE! Illuminated, flooding the area with a beautiful vista of colors. Spectacular!

Inside with galleries hover units take you up to the level where you need to be. Stepping off them, takes a little getting used to! Once you have, it, drops away, to collect the next Ket.

Each RING of the Knurlings, is a separate level with sections housing the domiciles. An apartment is probably an easy way of explaining them. They can be found next to the huge galleries. All of them, have imprint tags that are unique to the four Kets who adopt that particular domicile.

With the tag on you. the hatch opens automatically for you. That only works IF your tag is for that domicile. So, I know you're thinking, what if, friends et drop by?  The hatch can only be opened if at least ONE of its four is present.

Inside, they’re more than spacious, with great views, from the 'Panoramia', windows or screens. There was general agreement that the construct was a decent size inside BUT were would they be resting, sleeping, TONIGHT? There was NOTHING! No  furniture, fittings.

Kebu was grinning. He stepped across to a small rectangular fixing with a tiny blue flash across it to move a special 'Open access' tag across it, showing them how to activate a 4 dimensional construct unit.

“Simple to use, as he says, a K’bear could use this unit! Totally self explanatory.” He pauses moves to one corner. “Table for four Kets with seating.” Almost instantly a table with chairs appears.! Change to glass top.” The top of it becomes glass! “Complete.”
Solid, can be moved into any part of the domicile by word of mouth or by Kets!

He leaves us to it! “I would suggest you all concentrate on sleepng units! “ We spend a few minute going through various designs and adding a few tweaks before accepting our final decisions. The work in progress meant we had to leave the domicile step outside as the hatch closes.

Inside, millions of 'partocs,' as they are known are now transforming our habitat into how we want it to be. Semi organic particles, fusing within the domicile. As the hatch opens again to let us in? The sight that met our eyes? Took our breath away. I have never come across such tech that allows you to do this!"

“A gift from the Li Nia 7th generation aliens? “ Truth was we did not know, what we DID know was how tired we were!! Yoho appeared with another female called Kaelos, stuck their heads round the hatch, “Hope you like what you’ve chosen. You can’t change it for another 24 hours.“

Kaelos stepped in to our domicile looking around and then at Yoho to grin shaking her head!
“Here we go again! “  Moving us to one side of the domicile? She had some device in her hands, that she now activated. In front of our eyes we watched the 'partocs; working to produce?. We instantly recognized what it was! TO one side of it was a stack of towels and other essentials?

"That construct remains fixed, cannot be changed, you can add minor changes to suit for specific reasons only. Cleanser facilities are a must Kets.“ She smiled, looked at Yoho and rolled her eyes. “Only another seventy domiciles to go. Why is it, they always forget about their cleanser facilities!”.

Yoho was looking around and then back at the Kets. Now also a grin spreading across her lips.
“It seems storage is also forgotten and that, now that; can get really interesting.“ At least they could get some rest and update the domicile facilities later.

Margise had been taken away by Corky. The eldest of the Fendiq Kets she had delayed her entry to the Akademy because she wanted to go with the others BUT! Her overall age was not being accepted by the Akademy who had now realized her age and were going to expel her?

When Corky had told Verona the situation she had left him to retun a while later. “Margise is to become one of the trainee instructors. I know she is has good language and inter social skills that will come in useful for working with the Kets who have problems and or decide they need her advice, she will be working with Xett who is expecting her.

It will mean, she has to live in her own domicile, NOT share with the other Kets from Fendiq etc.! “
Margise had been upset at the news BUT now ? Pleased to note that the situation had been resolved.
She was now telling the others.

“Well I insisted, there was only THREE of us, no need to get so protective but! “ Claria smiled “She had chosen two recline chambers and furiously defended them  for her and you.“ Margise moved to them, laughed. “Fluffy pink?.“ Knowing full well, it was HER fav color.

“I can stay tonight, but tomorrow I have to move! Tutors do not reside with the Kets in their domiciles.
The rest of the now evening, was whiled away with posessions being delivered by Levients who unloaded then left US!

The never ending murmur. “We don’t normally do this.“ It was true most Kets, always had some sentient or similar to unpack and sort minor tasks, their things. There was, no actual storage space.
That, had been bad planning on their part.

They were stuck, for the next 24 hours at least, however that was not such a problem. Items stacked in one corner, left until tomorrow? As it was, few were in the mood, for unpacking other than the essentials.

Some pre programming of friends tags. Other Kets drifted in and out, curious to see, how they had redesigned their domicile. There were some obvious differences given the physiology let alone the biology of some of the other races.

Ones that slept upside down, others did not sleep at all, or?! Nibs were like twins except they were mentally, physically, biologically; inseparable. They could suffered great distress, if separated or forced apart. In some instances separation could kill them. THUS they were treated and regarded as being what they were. The tutors and instructors had a lot of specific information and theirs was one aspect of it all.

Couplets were Kets,
‘male and female ‘ who were MONOGAMOUS, allowed specific domiciles usually two pairs sharing. Couplets were mates for life.

They did not EVER cheat or have loyalty to any other than their chosen. Couplets by Galacia Federa laws could kill, any who attempted to do anything that was deemed to be in violation of their pact.

are all  ‘Couplets’.
They had the approval of both their parents ‘families’. Some  Inseparable from birth.

A couplet could mix with others, without, the other being presen.

They could NOT, violate their LIFE agreement with each other.

That would be, NOTE;  a death sentence for BOTH of them.

On arrival, the Kets had all, been given Sheldes. These could be described, as electronic pads that have a holographic imaging sequencer, plus a stack of other facilities, including diary et, activity schedules and a whole lot more. Plus games and other media applications. Think of it as an advanced version of a tablet that we use now. Far more advanced, sophisticated, in features and tech?

Every three domiciles, shared a galerria. IT contained seating and in front of that, one huge, fixed display screen. Four interactive modules, to allow them to use the screen, for games, coms to other Kets in other domiciles or to watch Globecast presentations.

Not forgetting, and including Renais Movies. The screen illuminated, flaring into life. The image of a female Ket, welcoming them, before showing them how to use the 'partoc' tech properly and what facilities their nearby external Knurling, offered them.

Where, various sections, were to be located, for refreshments, best places to do this, to see this, or chill out generally in what are called 'Ovirs'. Small communal areas, that provided tables and seating.

A varied menu, and that was mainly because Kets eat according to who and where they come from?.
Do remember that some did NOT eat at all!! Ingest, or digest beit food OR water / fluids.
It could be said, that some of the Ovirs, were adopted by certain races. Mainly because it was easier, to have similar species together.

Behavior, culture, food and entertainment taken into consideration. Not that you, if you so wished to do so; could not use that, Ovir. They were all, 'Open access.' to any Ket, whoever or, wherever, they,  came from!

The Akademy, encouraged the integration of Kets into the different Ovirs so that they could learn from other races, taste their foods, sample their drinks and be educated by it. Become friends with some, who perhaps, they might have considered to be anything but.

Lets remember, that fear of the unknown, or assuming something, to be that is not, is far worse, than actually confronting your curiosities or fears and knowing the truth. Those who indulge in that way of thinking OR behaving, often are the reasons why their are so many mistruths; the ones that start wars.

Mixing, can have you discovering, that ‘well actually we share the same interest, like the same foods, fashion, music’ and so on.
Certain traits and features the other might feel at odds with can lead to seeing anothers point of view.

The one with tentacles, thinking the ones with arms and hands? Only to be told that the one with the arms and hands wishes they had their tentacles? whilst explaining WHY? Uhh, I’m keeping my tentacles thanks!

A good way to making friends. It is not HOW the look, tentacles an all!  Or eyes that are bigger than yours, or in the center of their head or they do not have, as is the case with the Vendarans,

They breathe, through what we would know, as 'gills' found at the side of their chest. Appearances you see can be deceptive, they can appear with normal looking faces BUT!

The Jade Simplets have specific traits that highlight their astonishing levels of intelligence. When the Akademy Kets first meet them they are already in awe of them. What they will realize, is how over time, they will both realize, the values they share.

At this late hour? Most of the Kets, were finding their reclines and settling back on them. Soon, were sound asleep.The lighting automatically dimmed. Opticons hovered outside the domiciles.

Iasiuu ignored it would seem by the Opticons, or security devices, had checked in on Ameryst, to make sure she was safe. Unseen, unknown by her and her fellow Kets in the domicile, she had left her a little gift. Sleep well sister, we have a lot of training coming up.
