I finally, got to be next to Nathan. We entered the inner air lock. The main connecting hatch, to Raptor opened. I took my first look at Raptor, from the inside. IT was as HUGE, on the inside, as I somehow, had expected.
Sparkling and polished clean, without doubt, fit for a Princess !
I had to grin, what a difference, from the untidy Zimp !
Lined up, inside, watching our approach were 4 females, two males; two Sentients.
Two of the females, were bioforms, not as sophisticated as Tanya, Desiree and Liana.
The other two, were older than Nathan and real Human(a) with male partners. Jesira, Ama, Dram and Mizac who were really nice to me and obeyed Royal protocol by not making eye contact with me, much to Tan’s amusement.
I gripped Nathan’s hand, watching Tan squirm, making it apparent to Desiree and Liana what I was doing, as we moved forward into the main control area. Several GOKS were active, controlling the Raptors functions.
Tan had been walking behind us with Desiree and Liana, she now moved forward, to where I was stood, looking down at the main control area, coming between me and Nathan. Gripping my hand and his ! I moved around the other side of Nathan and took hold of his other hand, annoyed at his amusement !
Tan’s actions were short lived, as she was dragged off, by Desiree and Liana, no doubt wanting to know more about me. Leaving me, alone with Nathan. He showed me to my accommodation.
As the hatch slid open, I was again surprised, at how clean, how sparkling and well furnished, it was !
The recline, was large, spacious and had cushions, various other comforting additions !
I laid down on it, then pulled him closer.
Sat on the recline, he was looking at me, slumped back, on the cushions. Relaxed?
“Your ship, is impressive” He leaned in close to me. “Glad, it meets someone’s approval!”
“Thank you for saving me. If I was feeling lost, with all that has gone on, YOU have been more than a comfort to me.”
I moved in closer to him. I wanted to tell him, I knew why he was here, why I was here. The truth was out! Revealed! No secret anymore. He smiled “Get some rest and in the morning I’ll show you the rest of Raptor.” He left,
I laid back, relaxing when the hatch flew open and standing in the doorway, was one, uh well ‘droid’. It was Tan and she was carrying something, in her hands.
“These are for you, if you, don’t like them, we can replicate something else for you.” She turned away from me. “If you need anything, call for a Sentient. We’ve female GOKS, ‘Festlings’ and.” Her voice tailed off as I swear, she smirked. “Male GOKS, ‘Raeslings’, aboard Raptor.”
I was relieved to see her leave!
One of the items, she had given me, stood out from the others. A medium size PACKAGE. Somehow I knew I had to open it! Inside was a note, scrawled on an adele (A small electonic notepad, smaller than the shelde.) in my language!
Underneath it, was a heavily wrapped, pack. I removed it and sat down on the recline. Material with soft silk like finish wrapped around something? I carefully removed the material, gasped as my hands, gently lifted into vie;
A beautifully crafted, ,crown, with a pure white KahesnaChe (Flower similar to the Lotus flower) in the middle of it. Hedged by a line, of smaller, pure white flowers.
I realised straight away, what it was. In all its glory, from the images of my mother wearing it, the Royal crown. Lelanora had often asked me where it was, even her sly use, of a truth serum on me, did not reveal its whereabouts. I simply did not know!
What I did know? What my father had told me. ”When you are ready then you will receive the KahesnaChe” I put it on and standing up looked in the mirror. The moment I placed the KahesnaChe on my head I sensed it had power of its own. Rippling across my forehead, making the gem implants tingle?
My body, was feeling wave after wave of some powerful energy, surging through me, across my body and inside. Giving me a feeling of immense power and control! I was not moving, rooted to the spot?
A link was forming, between my consciousness and something within Raptor. Whatever it was, had immense presence, power and I was being made aware of its reasons for making itself known to me. Raptor was host to an alien intelligence at its core?
Responding to my thoughts as it whispered to me. ‘Welcome Princess Cistera of the Fendiq, do not be afraid, I have a gift for you to enhance your powers.” I felt the extra surge of energy wash across my body.The voice within my head. “You and you alone, will understand my gift.
The path you take, will not be an easy one. Stay true to your purpose and you WILL have what your heart desires.” I felt the slight ripple as the link terminated.
Elsewhere.
Nathan, had entered his accomodation and was stood looking out from Raptor.He felt a sudden surge through his body, making it go rigid. Energy pulsed across his body.
Entering, to see him stood there, Tan saw him immersed, bathed in an energy that surged around him in ghost like wisps of pure white light. Seconds later it died away to nothing.
‘She found it ‘ ‘ Yes I handed over the box, her father left onboard Raptor.
Where are we going next ?’ “Psemon, we have something to collect.” Tan went to leave, he stepped in front of her “Don’t go, nothing has changed besides I think we need to get some rest Tan.”
Taking her hand, he led her over to the recline, helping her onto it he stepped back moving across to a console unit.”Ana” A voice answered “Nathan”
‘We’re headed to Psemon, you’re at the helm, send a Festling (female looking gok) to stay with the Princess, shadow mode and if you want me or Tan, you know where we are.”
