Recent activity, of, what had been known, as unidentified aerial phenomena was nothing new. Alien craft from the Orias - Orion syndicates trading with Solus 3 (Earth) were now a regular sight BUT the technology AND the craft were heavily protected by the various races.

Space travel at an accepted level, re the ‘Evolution’ inter planetary agreement had been ratified by Solus 3 (Earth), monitored with training in a lot of aspects re the use of newly designed power systems including GRAVITOR that allowed GRAVITY to work on the same level as Solus 3 (Earth).
Bone wasting and other issues that had plagued astronauts and similar were now no longer of any real concern.
Heath and well being was ensured from the off with advanced devices to correct DNA strings OR make modifications to enhance with added auto immune responses.
Birth rates had been problematic with some of those on Solus 3 (Earth) attempting to overthrow others by having NO birth controls bar terminating FEMALES, in preference for MALES.. BUT that had its own downsides.. NO females meant NO more pregnancies. All MALES no FEMALES AND soon those taken prisoner were injected the ‘Pite’.

Those given the ‘death penalty’, had two choices, made by family member.. Execution within 30 days OR a LOBOTOMY, lobotomised, but that would only be allowed, IF, there was someone, to take responsibility for the released criminal / murderer.
The procedure was quick, painless and removed ANY and all aggression, in some instances total pacification of the individual. The upside was that person could be returned to the ‘family’ AND removed the expense of keeping the prisoner on death row.. but of course promoted as giving them back to the family who would have to incur the charges for their upkeep.
A larger amount of so called formerly concerned family member once they realized THEY would have to be FINANCIALLY responsible declined to take on that and the executions could then go ahead.
Executions were quick, painless AND the vaporisation of the bodies was almost instant molecular disintegration on an atomic, protons, neutron level.

Saucer shaped, four what looked like flamed sections, brightly illuminated and distinctive, some form of energy source visible as it now slowed down.
Above the walls, the stone outline of that central ‘court’ it seemed to hover before sinking to rest above those walls. TONNES, those walls weighed TONNES.
Solid thick, reinforced AND now a shadow created by whatever was allowing it to sit there with the walls below it, the walls were NOT supporting it.
Buzzing beneath it, to flood the underside forming a cushion of energy, the craft could be seen from the satellites above Solus 3 (Earth) to be resting on.
NOT moving.. nothing happening. cept the realization that all who had been underneath it had been vaporised?
