Arvania, had the device, tightly in the palm of her hand, striking Loki, causing her to fall back. In seconds Esleha had the device in her hands. To her horror, Loki saw Esleha replace the device on her forehead. It embedded itself almost instantly.
Where the skin had been cut, with a hole previously? She saw it gone and the skin healed. The object was, as though it had never been removed!
She screamed at Esleha. The fury in her voice, the rage in her eyes. “I am Queen I am the chosen one, NOT you. Where you are going, you will NOT be needing that!“ She shoved Arvania to one side and lunged at at Esleha. Her hand gripping the head, to rip the object from her forehead. Unaware of Esleha moving her hand to shove it against her chest. The clothing she was wearing torn.
Unlike any of the other Cflen, the tubes from her fingers were stronger, sharper. Loki felt her skin pierced. A sensation of a liquid being released into her. Paralysing her. The tubes penetrating deep into her body. The look on Loki’s face said it all. Even Arvania was stunned into silence. She had never thought that the tubes could be used against another Cflen as a weapon?
She hissed at Loki. “You think as the chosen one. Queen of my people I was totally defenceless? You are nothing. You betrayed your Queen, your people. You, do not deserve to live.“ The amount of fluid being sucked from her body? A sudden surge, as it was now draining the last of her life force.
Esleha removed the tubes, shoving Loki’s lifeless body, away from her, the tubes withdrew into her fingers. Arvania had been dispatched to find two other females.
Her sisters? Esleha beckoned them close. One after anoter, her fingers against their lips.
“Taking her life essence, restored mine. From the horror the BEAST inflicted, the essence flows through me of youth, of invigorating life force. Share with me in the moment when we are bonded as one. We SHALL, destroy this evil. But remember this day.
We have no choice, but to find a way to, destroy them all. I will NOT see my people enslaved, Arvania will come with me, you two, have much work to do here.“ She stood up, a little unsteady but now helped by Arvania.
“Take the Cflen into the hills, find the caverns beyond the rift. Secure them there, until we have found a means to destroy this evil!“ “You need rest mother.“ They begged her, but she would not listen. Taking Arvania by the hand.
“Come child, we have a long journey, ahead of us. REMEMBER! You must round the others up and move them from here, before he returns! Send messengers to the others, who are not aware of what has happened here today!
Make sure, they understand, the nature of this BEAST!“ She called Vkirian to her. “Find the one’s who sided with Loki, her murdererous cohorts. Execute them, do NOT spare them, they showed no mercy, show them NO mercy!“ She gripped Arvania.
”What you did, more than repays the stupidity of your previous actions! It took courage to face up to one, who could have easily killed you!“ She gently ran her hand over Arvania’s bruises.
“It seems the BEAST, likes to hurt to cause pain, because it makes us fear them?” Arvania nodded, she was shaking, recalling his body on hers, the weight, the force, the stench of him taking her. She started to weep.
She was still in pain, a lot of pain. The recent events, had taken her mind off it. Now she was feeling it once again. Could not stop the shaking? Esleha comforted her, before moving closer to her.
Her hand moved up, onto her chest and from her fingers, the tubes extended to pierce her. Arvania froze, terrified? "Easy child! I give to you, some of the fluid. It, will take the pain from you. You have nothing, to fear from me, nor anything, to give, for you have given me, far more than I could ever, have asked for, from you. Now it is my turn to show you the real power of the Cflen.
This liquid, contains a unique enzyme. Not only will it heal you, but will mark you, as the next Queen. Should I die, you will take my place." Arvania saw the fingers move from her. The tubes retracted. Her body felt the flush of the fluid within her.
Minutes later, the bruising had gone! Her pain? Gone! She could move even the limbs, that before, had been so painful. The ones, that had been made worse, with her attack on Loki?
“Come child, we have a long journey ahead of us. Arvania; not without risks, I think from what we have seen, something is wrong, with the balance, between us and the Fodawke. The BEAST has interfered and I feel the nightmare, is only just beginning!”
"I still do not understand, why you did not kill him?" Esleha stopped looked at her. "You understand so little. In front of all of our people, humliated, beaten down by the BEAST? Now they, know it, for what it is!
Have no illusions about what it is capable of. If I had killed it, they would not be so enraged, so determined, to protect, what they have and who they are; from it. They must see it for what it is AND destroy it, without feeling any guilt or remorse?"
