Dahhan, had left, to meet up with Arvania. Given the fact, that he had not had that much sleep, he was surprisingly awake! Joden had watched him leaving. Something suspicious? Since when was Dahhan up and about this early?
He decided he needed to find some answers!

Moving into his, luckily, unlocked;  laboratory. He noticed the flicker of a screen. He stepped over to it , peered at the screen. He knew that Dahhan was a slob BUT when it came to his work? He was meticulous ,when it came to recording his research notes.

Looking through, the recent notes, he was speechless! So the winged creature, was known as a Fodawke. He had also recorded the discovery of another species to be found on the planet. They were known as the Cflen. The planet was Cflenia.

The Cflen, who resembled a Human(a) yet had wings and could fly? Had Dahhan finally lost his marbles? Yet the sample results, were precise and he had to agree; the DNA similarities, were astonishing. He too, was finding the biological similarities, between the Cflen and the Fodawke bizarre!

"Bloody hell." Caley stepped through the hatch to see him. Hearing him muttering, she scowled. She disliked Dahhan, but Joden You would have to be a fool, to regard him as anything but psychotic. A born sadist with a really nasty violent temper. As for his caustic sarcasm.

Hey! Both races similar, cept ones got a brain, the other had one, but lost it! Ucking reminds me of you Caley. She scowled again. “Might I suggest you b'stard that you stop looking at your own reflection.”

Joden had a flat nose. Caley often remarked. 'That the reason for that, was that he was the runt of the litter, though she suspected he had been born, in a test tube.'

“Don’t tell me, you’re in the Geno records, looking at your own profile. I mean, you did mention NO brain!” She laughed sneering at him. You need to check, see if you had balls back then.” She turned and left still grinning.

It was an hour later, when Joden was stood in the Regen chamber. Stepping over to a Regen unit. He stared at module marked 00x4b6, Caley’s favourite. Smiled as he placed a data disc into the slot and waited. The unit illuminated, buzzed into life, as data streams activated. Confirmed, accepted data. "Now we’ll see, who hasn’t got a brain bitch.”

Arvania had been cautious, to slip away, she had hoped unnoticed. A good twenty minutes, before she arrived at the agreed meeting place? She dropped to the ground, folded in her wings and waited.

At least there were no Fodawke flying around? For some reason, they seemed to avoid this area. On the flat rock a clearly visible target? None of her people to her knowledge had ever been attacked by Fodawke here. It was regarded by them as sacred ground.

What she didn’t know was that the rocks mass, contained a mild gas that it emitted, that the Fodawke found nauseating. In the early hours and during the day, when the heat from the suns flooded the area the gas would rise.

The Fodawke warned off by their heightened sense of smell. Too close to the rock would have them breathing it in. Confusion, disorientation.
Dahhan arrived shortly afterwards, he had been pleased to see her and this time, he beckoned her inside the craft.

She was, he noted curious, but also nervous. “You don’t have to be afraid!” He moved closer to her.”Not with me.” She stared at him, he could see the semblance of a smile. “Its all so new, isn’ it?” He was thinking that she had never been in a craft like this before?

Unknown to him, Arvania was recalling the time, when she was much younger, that she had had the privilege, of being taken into a space craft owned by an alien traveller, trader known asTolgani. He was known, by her mother.

Your mother?€ She moved her head extending her hand, to grip the glass, taking it off him, sipping the water. He was asking some strange questions AND some she was not prepared to answer. “So how do you reproduce?”€ What a strange question to ask? Or was it?

“We have males, aswell as females!” He was even more curious. “But very few males in comparison to females. NOT all of our race are produced pro actively by us. Individually spawning.

He was mulling over, what she had said in his mind, he couldn’t make sense, of her last words. "Not all of our race, are produced pro actively." His questions were met with silence. “I am forbidden, to tell you any more, I would be violating our sacred code, our gods would be angered.”

In her mind, she was hearing others words, on her lips, repeating them. “I would surely be punished, end up in the jaws of a Fodawke for telling you anything more”.

The day wore on. Closing the hatch, he took her on a ride across some of the planet’s land surface. Places she recognised. She pointed out various features and then saw to her horror, on a high ledge a huge nesting area.

It must have been, at least a hundred, well established Fodawke nests. From what she could see and sense, at least three to four eggs in each one! He could sense her fear, as he too looked on, at the nest after nest.

“This is sooo wrong! there are far too many of them. Three eggs in a nest?!! There have NEVER been more than one egg to a nest!, If this lot continue as now, my race is  doomed.” She was shaking.

“Perhaps my princess, we should even up the odds. Let me show you why you should trust us.” Priming the weapon arrays, he waited for them to become fully charged! The strange craft had not gone unnoticed by the Fodawke.

Two huge ones, coming at him. Arvania was shaking in fear? He fired at them for them to sense that this was not the place for them to be? Reasoning? They dropped away at speed, downwards. Now Dahhan moved, towards the nests,

Firing at random, he set the nests ablaze. The wind picked up the flames and soon the fire spread. Illuminating the sky with red and orange hues. Nest after nest destroyed, He noted the instrument cluster was buzzing, warning him.

At least a dozen Fodawke in flight, towards him. Ok so two, he could resist, but more than that, was taking a risk of being compromised. He primed the main rocket arrays, fired pleased to see he had taken out four of them.
He decided he was not going to hang around. He turned the craft and headed away at speed.

What Dahhan did not hear, were the shrieks, the screams of rage, from the remaining Fodawke hovering above the smouldering remains on the ridge.
Minutes later the screeches died back. Circling to join up, there were now, at least forty of them.

For creatures who had small brains and as Caley had muttered. ˜With brains the size of Dahhans or Joden's, unlikely to be anything but stupid creatures?' Evolution as Dahhan and the others were soon to discover was about to open up gates of hell.

These, appeared to be organised. Set on a course of action, which was planned and calculated?! Something, a simple species, was NOT capable of?

Arvania left Dahhan, after she had shared some food with him. She was still feeling relieved that the nests had been destroyed. A major threat eliminated AND if they could rely on the Human(a) to keep the beast controlled?

Dahhan, now knew he had control, She was now his to do with as he pleased.
The fear on her face, had been what he wanted to see. Once again his thoughts drifted back to the rape and murder of that ‘elite’ bitch.back on Earth?
Now he had to find out nunbers, of females, males and how to have them accept him as their God, their ruler.

She was delighted to have witnessed the destruction of, the culling of, so many of the Fodawke. Tomorrow he had promised, they would go look for more nests. It was his intention to seize an egg? He had held her kissed her on the cheek. Watched her leave. Took a swab wiped it across his lips and placed it into a tube.

The main Cflen area was quiet, the young Cflen were playing, the older ones, watching them as they, talked about the Human(a)."
