Changes.
There wasn’t a darn thing, they did not somehow, contrive to change! Oh it started off, innocently enough. The means to end starvation? Feed the world. An opportunity for those who had profited previously to capitalize again.
Patents, licences to produce the crops. ‘No licence, no crop.’ You have to buy the seed, the special fertilizer and other, what they deemed essential and compulsory purchases, under the terms of the contracts. "From us. Only us."
Strict controls and monitoring of crops, NOT to ensure Genetically Modified foods got out of control but were kept in control and to that end, they built in sterility to the seed. One crop and that was it.
In the end the governments backed down and instigated organic programs aimed at creating home grown crops allowing the people to select their option on seeds? The people it seemed had won? Until the population grew and grew to the levels where the Scieste were hailed as heroes, delivering solutions to the hunger. They mutated the seeds to produce massive crops. Triple the normal yields?
Crops appeared on store shelves, same size, harder skins, toughened resistance to pests and disease. All the same size, bananas thicker, longer, straight. New fruits, formed from genetically modified trees, fruit bushes.
You could buy, crops of anything, out of season.
So you ask, what was a season on Earth ?
Well the year, was split into four of them. Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn (or fall). Before crop genetics, you bought things through the year as was, you know what I mean ? No of course you don’t do you?
Well take the humble €˜potato’. You had that as a NEW potato in the spring , it was full of flavor and could be eaten, with the skin on, boiled in water, not so much these days because water is an expensive commodity!
But I digress, as the potato headed towards summer its skin started to age, if kept in the right conditions out of the light and cool it would be ok to eat, but the skin would be much tougher? Sure you could peel it, boil it and mash it, or you could leave the skin on and ‘bake’ it in an oven, to crisp up the skin which was often the case.
Then came the ‘CLIMATE protagonist’ war. The problems with soil contamination, Chemical pollution, contaminants from devices built using materials that seeped chemicals into the soils? That caused people to think twice about leaving the skins on.
Geneticists had wanted, for a long time, to meddle with food. An ideal opportunity to experiment, create the perfect crop, cure the hunger issues and help improve the harvests? It pushed them ever more, towards their autocratic controls, until finally, GM foods were more than common place. It was not widely accepted, by the more concerned environmentalists.
Prepacked, precooked, reheat or rehydrate to consume; goods that encompassed full meals, to snacks. Shove it in the micro unit and eat. But the concentrated vitamin and food pills were gaining popularity. Especially amongst the affluent who were too busy to stop and eat a full meal.
Some could contain additives, that were the equivalent of the worst that chemicals could produce. Taste enhancers, calorie reducers, tonics and more; more toxins.
What you have to understand that food is at the core of the populace. Control the food supplies and you control the bulk of the people. Governments, politicians, military. All of the things that offer you the power, the control, the ability to dominate. Throw in some exclusive luxuries only made so by restriction WHO could have them and you gain even more power.
You can bypass normal rules and protocols to get the certification to do this, or that at will. Untouchable. BUT Geneticists also concerned themselves in other aspects of life.
Change the sex of your child, the color of its eyes, skin pigmentation. Experiments on animals. cloning, regenerates with strength, the ability to take orders, to replace military personnel. To enforce the growing power of the geneticists to levels they had never dreamed of.
It can be said that some were responsible for their actions. Caring, attentive and concerned.
Others were not. Out to capitalise at every opportunity, thrown their way. Wealth, power, influence. Terrible, terrible wars with biochemical weapons. robot armies. Drone and other similar weapons?
Starvation, disease, until your enemy capitulated. No mercy. Enslaved. .Ah yes, the ‘ SLAVERS’. Those who bought and sold human beings like they were cattle. They had always existed as ‘people traffickers’ but these slavers were allowed to trade human beings under special licences, often bribes paid to corrupt officials.
Males had decided the female was a nightmare, a blight on their existence with their constant woke attitudes and demands to be treated as equals only to bully, intimidate, exploit the males they could with a vengeance.
Partnerships, relationship issues were traced time after time to the female former ‘ feminists’; a woke minority?
BUT, if they had come under attack?
The problem had laid with those who were woke antagonists, at every opportunity creating trouble, attacking businesses, individuals, spreading rumours and making false allegations, that led to some, losing their livelihood, being stigmatized for something they had been falsely accused of? Reputations trashed overnight AND those who had been the liar, the cheat, the real criminal; walked away unscathed.
Thus it would not take long, for those who saw those, who could attack them, often using ‘mob mentality’ to do it;
The ones who turned to using new technologies such as media to do so; were now using ‘hunters’ trained to find them and carry out the wishes of their masters. Lobotomise, sell their organs, enslave them and beat them to submission.
The problem gradually became more sophisticated. Intricate scanning and tracking of individuals.
Those who sought to escape? In amongst the mob? NO more.
Immigrants and migrants who had entered countries across the globe, in their millions? It would not take long before they were taking their places in society, getting the rights to vote, to elect and put their own in positions of power?
NOW, the decisions being made were no longer of the original people of that country.
The female was no longer respected. Regarded as having no rights. to obey and prostate themselves, before their masters. Using religion, as a key to force subservience on them. NO education permitted except for being dutiful subservient female. The vast numbers of males ? They loved the new regulations. Those who had lost their jobs or were forced out by females now took their revenge.
Slave collars, rape, beatings and in some cases torture; were taking place. but ignored by those who policed society.
Any attempt at rebellion or insurrection was met with a brutal public flogging followed by farming their organs and incineration.
Those who wanted total subjugation of the lower classes? Their scientes came up with the perfect solution, It was a worm. They had altered its DNA construct. Placed into the blood stream by an innocuous injection, for the health and wellbeing of the host, so it was maintained.
It produced a sub neural toxin that subdued all of the normal emotions to do with will and that included opposition, free thought. Needed little to keep the thing active except the host being fed, watered and kept in reasonably good health.
You could expect a good thirty years or so from adolescence, until the parasite, took over the brain completely. Unfortunately, dying shortly after. The host became vegetative, loss of motor functions. unable to move, incapacitated, brain dead.
The bodies collected, incinerated. Ah yes it was a time of peace. No rebellion, no insurrection or discord. The select few enjoying the bounty of others blood, sweat and tears.
But even amongst them? They grew greedy for more power. Boredom bred a hunger, for what lay beyond Earth. All that the Sciestes had laid before them, of planets similar to our own, few and far between BUT? IF you ventured out into those areas? Riches beyond comprehension. Asteroid mining could also give up some rare minerals. Precious ones that were needed for the new types of power ‘infinity’ drives?
Scams, rip offs, playing the suckers for all they were worth and that included beyond the early ‘Crypto currency scams’ that has already made them rich. Rip off, profit from and where able to; take the suckers for everything leaving them destitute, in despair and sometimes selling or trading their body organs to get themselves out of debt?
New beauty treatments and selling rogue ‘anti aging’ drugs. Experimenting on creatures, land and sea based.
More pollution to the land AND the sea. Bio chemical mutations started to appear more and more..
Nuclear waste dumped into the seas had now started to mutate the creatures within it.
Then the nightmare happened, Those who had been implanted with the ‘worm’? Something was to happen that would see it, killed, by a mystery virus. Those who were normally complacent, docile? Turning on their masters, slaughtering them. Earth became once again, a place of wars, of disease, starvation, famine.
The rebellion was enforced, by those who had been the most subjugated They were merciless in their killing, their slaughter. Males found themselves in a war that was no longer anything less than total revenge.
New weapons, new neural controllers injected into the males. Thousands of them. Then forcing them to fight other males and subjugate them OR kill.
The ensuing hell? It would take the males by surprise BUT if the thought of such ever happening had not crossed their minds? Their scientist elites had already perfected some new drugs which were aerosol in form and did NOT affect the male genome. Females collapsed and were now forced to wear special collars. Collars that had been in existence before the ‘worm’ and were now improved, cheap and effective.

NOT that there were a lot of the planets inhabitants, who were convinced, that such an uprising, would never happen again? What had been seen by them when the rebels had caught and taken their revenge on males? Parts of their bodies removed, with a savagery that would make even the worst of them cower?
Some ot the elites had access to transporters, space craft that has been used for trips to the moon, to Mars? The Mars colonies had been well invested in. Mars however was NOT the only ‘Human(a) colonies that had grown over the previous century? Let us also NOT forget that the subjugation of females was an Earth based rarity. In other colonies they could be in charge of or certainly on a more equatable level. Equality prevailed.
BUT Earth? A cesspit of Human(a) that was not intent on changing anything anytime soon. Females could NOT escape except if they were willing to pay huge sums of money to rogue space transport pilots. If they were caught or sold out by those pilots, taking the money and having the females arrested? Nothing new there.
As for the scientist elites? The female rebellion had had female hunters tasked with finding them. Butchering them when they found them. The cause of the ‘worm’? Those who had thought about escaping, seized upon the means to venture into worlds beyond, that offered them the respite to be free of this nightmare. For some that meant building their own space ships, transporters.
New technologies, that allowed them, to build craft that could take out into space, had long been available including the subjugated labor forces, to do so. They had craft, the means. Those who had quelled the rebellion were thankful to the Elite Scientists for their efforts? YET their were some amongst them who it had not rejected the idea, that those self same Elites, could not come up with, something else to control them?
Certain geneticists ? Were to be targeted, arrested in a surprise raid the next day? Seizure of mounting evidence against them. For some, false allegations, planted evidence and ? For some? on the spot executions.
Hesat. A multi billion enterprise, that had geneticists, involved in projects that were revealed when their laboratories were stormed. Mutations, that made several of those present, looking on, physically sick.
They had never seen such acts of perversion, of evil. Beyond two headed beings, beyond disfigurement. Those who were now wanted for crimes against Humanaity. Their targets had been caught off guard. Well, SOME. NOT all and that
is where the real nightmare unfolds.
