The arrival in the Vae of Nae Dorf with a small detachment of volunteers to give assistance to and evacuate to their home world, some of the inhabitants of this one?Jess Corbin Sci Fi

They traded with them. NOT adverse to their primitive low technology based civilization. Respect went both ways and the Zoen had helped build the communication arrays for business, trading, selling and buying.

Nae Dorf was a commander of a legion of tech savvy but also experienced engineers. This time their mission was a simple one. Remove as many as they could whilst leaving behind the remaining ‘warriors’ as they called them who were accepted as being allies of those in the Vae.

The Cflen were respected. The Human(a)? An attempt to involve the Zoen in their ongoing conflict had not succeeded.
They, like so many, across the QIverse, despised the Human(a).

Pushy, belligerent, lying and cheating, bullying and manipulating yes the Zoen knew all too well the Human(a). However the evacuation was going surprisingly well.

Watching as Saeld the commander of the Imperial Guard helping to protect them, those doing the evacuation; his small force was not having any problems. The signt of them was impressive.

Tall, muscular, well armed and yet not threatening as they helped all ages board the rescue craft. Each could hold up to 5,000 comfortably.
Three trips by three craft, meant they had removed a substantial number.

The locals knew, they could trust them. Promises made, that they would be safely returned, when the conflict, the ‘war’ was over? Now those remaining to take on the fight, the ‘war’ in the Vae knew the bulk of their families were safe; they could get on with preparations.

Taking the leaders to one side, he had helped the resistance, by teaching them how to use some new weapons. An ‘anonymous’ gift from the Zoen. Their Princess Regentia Ro ise had taken weapons and given them to him, to take to them. Her Papa would be furious, if the discovered, what she had done BUT, Ro ise had insisted to Saeld AND Umix, that they must obey her commands.

Saeld was a veteran commander. The wars in the Zoen Qiverse had died away with their enemies defeated or as we might say left running for the hills. THEY too had encountered the Matsupa. The retaliation and destruction, of a battle cruiser, carrying thousands of Zealots had been greeted with a huge party celebration.

Many of the resistance, were more than capable fighters They needed the weapons, to boost their morale but, most of all, to increase their strike capabilities.  Jess Corbin Sci Fi

An effective guerilla tactical force. Trained by him, but also, their strategic abilities, enhanced by Umix, choosing a select few that SHE knew would be powerful adversaries.

Sneaky, cunning, ruthless. More than aware of the terrain and how to use it, to teach their enemies, that not knowing or being aware of some of the dangers the planet terrain could bring upon them caught unawares?

They would find them, at the mercy, of those they believed to be, nothing less than primitives?

Mis and Adr with BoHo and HoBo had provided some extensive mapping of a large section of caves?

Two of them, were outright dangerous. Step into them and the ground could give way to a massive hole. The ground, had looked solid, nothing visually out of the ordinary.

They had followed some Raits (rats) into one of them, to see the ground, swallow them up! Subsidence, ah yes AND there were, according to the scans, some caves that had that issue to a real dangerous level.

Ones they would post warnings on. Advise, NO entry despite how normal or safe they looked? Locals had been warned and took heed. Others they were trained to set as traps.

Umix, was loved for her smooth talking persuasive tongue. She had taken one of the male leaders and dragged him, off to a mountain cavern. Waterfall with an upper gallery, that ran the length of the upper part.

The path it self, was sunk at the back of the bank in front of them that overlooked the cavern beneath?
An ideal ambush site for a few excellent ‘archers’ firing Oriu tipped arrows. Ones that could pierce armour?

It was know the some Zealots liked shiny sparkling; armour. That was now vulnerable UNLESS of course, they had shields, which the bulk of them it was known; did not.

They also had Irts. Ant like creatures, with a fire ant fierce bite.. Tucked into a pouch, fired with the arrow, to land on the unsuspecting, who, would now find that they were being fiercely attacked, by these whatever the hell they were?

Irts could also be used, to drop on encampments, where they, would run amok, amongst the simple tent as we would know them; structures. Only a small number of them would see all hell breaking loose and LOOSE was no understatement,.
under, over and IN.. Screams, howls of rage. Totally entertainment that cost those looking on; nothing. Jess Corbin Sci Fi

As for females going to slip on their panties, their undergarments;  to find Irts. Nipping away?! A tiny drip of necta (a kind of watery honey ) on them would see them nipping like crazy but also tearing the fabric to pieces.

The removal of them, in the midst of battle?
Think it would not, could not happen. REALLY!?

As for the males? Every crevice, every hole, hanging gardens of Babylon infestation, to rest amongst the balls nipping, biting, tearing, ripping with fury to drive the males to the point of insanity?

The problem, was how tenacious, how vicious and relentless those dammed things were. The locals could use sling shot to deliver their precious cargo.

No David and Goliah stone throwing here. Irts in full flight flung across your opponent? Their attackers, the ones, who slung that, in their enemies direction, would not be, unlike the Irts; hanging around.

Halluciogenic liquids, pastes, from what they ate to what they drank or ingested in other ways, created a madness equatable to an attack with the Irts.

Whole numbers of them stripping, fornicating, staggering drunks holding on to their prized possessions trying desperately to keep themselves and IT upright?

War was coming BUT those who had declared war were going to be in for the shock of their lives. Primitives?

Nothing beats getting down and dirty .. with your enemies.
