The problem for writers, lies with some, WHO want to dictate ‘canon’. The unscrupulous writers, who will seek to some might say, deliberately go out of their way to write, what they know will provoke them? Anything but, in some instances; FAMILY Sci Fi, or stick to their narrative, on what is accepted and what is not.
BUT the truth is. With so many Dr Who, writers writing, producing pod casts and more, that kind of goes out of whack as one might say. If you can’t beat em, confuse em and, when it came to Dr Who, there were some, whilst milking the money pit... who did just that.
They got paid millions for producing, some of the worst of Dr Who ever. Self centered egotists, radicals, extremists and outright narcissists using NEPOTISM to keep everyone doing as they were told. PAID in the thousands? Rejoicing, over their next drink or two.. on what they had managed to achieve, at the expense of the BBC AND their LICENCE FEE payers.
NO OVERSIGHT. I do not have any sympathy, for those who allowed them, to produce, that load of crap.
Those who lost them millions MILLIONS! BUT then THEY milked it to the end because they could and in fairness can we truly blame them?
As for those who live in the past, holding onto their memories and in some cases, little else; they want it to be as it was. IN THE PAST. BUT the PAST fast becomes the FUTURE and therein lies the ‘PARADOX’.
You do not, go before ‘Earthly child’ and anything after?
Preach tolerance and, everyone, entitled to their opinions, but then ‘ostracize’ anyone, who dares to do, what they have dictated, as OUT of bounds? They need to ask themselves.
HOW many, obeyed YOUR commands and did what you wanted?
HUNDREDS? THOUSANDS? Probably in their HUNDREDS which leaves them having the realization that they were the ones being OSTRACIZEd?
Quick to throw their toys outta the pram is an understatement. Instead of waiting, being patient to see IF a TALENTED, CREATIVE, WRITER could deliver what they were after? IF NOT better?
BUT no. as some will tell you, that there are some kids, who will throw their toys outta the pram.
For the toys to be picked up and the child gets to realize, a brilliant way to get attention, to have those around it doing what it COMMANDS? All the hallmarks of an attention seeker.
The ones who ‘age’ exactly as that, for the rest of their lives, however SHORT in some instances, that might be. Constantly demanding attention and when they don’t get it?
The PATHOLOGICAL LIARS. Who will make out their presence is fulfilling to others and others need them in their lives whilst doing things to destroy reputations, mislead and misinform? Worse than any psycho.
The damage they leave in their wake is unreal. When of course exposed for the lying cheats they are, the exit and move on leaving that trail of destruction littered with others realizing too late how they have been cheated, lost their life savings and or ?
BUT I digress. When you take payment, gratuities and MONIES, WAGES for doing something, for delivering what has been expected of you? Therein where those are concerned lies the ‘PARODY’.
They made the rules, the conditions AND they have delivered as they said they would. Get the picture?
When it came to the production, the monies spent, the cash out from an endless money pit for some? VALUE for money? WHO would not employ any of em.?
One thing and my ‘fans’ know all too well is that IF I have a choice of being surrounded by the ’woe is me’ brigade and the true OPTIMISTS? re Dr Who?
The Woe is me brigade don’t look beyond their noses, so wrapped up in the twaddle and ! that they vote on the show being suspended ‘on hiatus’ for x number of years... whilst they get over the recent horrors.. spreading the and upholding their TRUTH as the show needing to be just that?
They’re not saying, “You know if we really did have an excellent FANTASY - Sci Fi writer who delivered some of the Sci Fi and the DOCTOR that once we found delighted us.. Does what happened in the past, count?
Can we the WOE is ME brigade continue living in the past.. cursing, denying the FACT that those who wrote and put together that CRAP..
ARE NOT representative of the MAJORITY of those WHO can write compelling, Sci FI, Fantasy?
I now have to prove to THEM, aswell, as the ones who put together that crap.. ? Thanks a lot folks, AND no, don’t you come along later claiming to be true Whovians.. cos NO TRUE WHOVIAN would want anything less than seeing a NEW writer, a NEW Doctor, new monsters, terrors, howl, growl and realize with new alien races, FANTASIES?
Well you WOE is me folks can go continue griping, moaning whilst the TRUE WHOVIAN fans can discover what my fans have already known for a long long time..TIME hmm no theres a thought eh?
IF the new Dr Who is not about the last 60 years ... ? We won’t have anything to complain about, gripe about and feel aggrieved about.. WOE IS ME /US...
